We asked the Brazilian winger how he is dealing with the coronavirus shutdown.
Malcom: "This illness is most dangerous for the elderly"
I would not call the current situation a panic, but we all should take care of ourselves and each other, because although young people can be affected, it is more worrying for older people. For them, this virus is very dangerous and we should respect them and stay home!

As I said, this illness is most dangerous for the elderly, so everyone should help and fight against it and not create extra risks.

What are your thoughts about the league suspension? Should we finish it later or end it now and give out the medals?

There are difficulties for me with having this break as I've just returned from injury and had just felt the atmosphere of the game, the support of the Zenit fans and the whole city, it's been exciting, so it's hard to have a break again. But for me there it is not a problem finishing the tournament a bit later, in May or June, I want to play in every match until the end of the season and get wins and lift trophies.

What steps are you taking with the coronavirus?

The same as everything else, washing my hands thoroughly, if I go out shopping, then I put on a mask and gloves to protect myself, but it is better to stay at home. I hope it's all over soon. I wish everyone good health and that the football will return and make us happy again!
