Wilmar Barrios orders 500 food parcels for his home town

The Colombian midfielder is helping to provide for the needy in this time of crisis.

This week Wilmar Barrios purchased 500 food packages for residents of Cartagena, his hometown in Colombia. The packages include eggs, sugar, salt, flour, cereals, canned food, beans, lentils and vegetable oil.

Wilmar told us "In Cartagena, many are struggling with the coronavirus pandemic and the quarantine situation. I wanted to do something to help a little and I plan to continue doing this." 

Wilmar Barrios joined Zenit from Boca Juniors in February 2019 and has played 41 matches, scored two goals and made two assists since joining us.
