Ekaterina Sochneva named as the first ever Zenit Women's captain
Yulia Grichenko and Yulia Zapotichnaya have been named as vice-captains.
"This is a team decision made by both the players and the coaching staff. The girls elected Ekaterina Sochneva as captain, with Yulia Zapotichnaya and Yulia Grichenko as vice-captains. It's a logical decision and these girls have proven their leadership abilities to the team, both on and off the pitch. The coaching staff would have made the same choice if it was only down to us, but we completely agree with the decision of the players."
