Gazprom Academy U13 players laid flowers at his memorial plaque near the house on 73 Moskovsky Prospekt, where the first Zenit manager to lead the club to a league title lived. 

Sadyrin played for Zenit from 1965 to 1975 and was team captain for six seasons.He managed the club from 1983 to 1987 and from 1995 to 1996. In 1984, he led Zenit to the club's first-ever title win.
