Zenit-2 win at home against table-topping Tver

Vyacheslav Radimov's side had to come from behind to take the three points at the Smena Stadium.
Going into the match Tver were unbeaten in their first six games of the season and were top of the PFL on 16 points, Zenit-2 were some way behind in mid-table and on 5 points.

The goals at the Smena Stadium started with a strike for the away side from Ivanov on 18 minutes and the possibility of Tver leaving St. Petersburg with the points seemed very possible. However, the comeback started on the 31 minute-mark with Stanislav Krapukhin getting the first of his two strikes to take us in level at half-time. His first coming after excellent team play down the left flank and a half-volley deep inside the box, that in truth was only half-caught on the strikers left foot, managed to deceive their 'keeper to end up in the back of the net.

The second half saw Zenit-2 in control and Krapukhin's second on 71, this time from the spot and the striker's sixth in seven games, followed by the goal to secure the points from Nikita Simdyankin on 86, the Zenit forward firing home from the edge of the box after a cross from the right found it's way to the 19-year-old blonde.

Zenit-2 now move up to 9th in the PFL Group 2 with 8 points from seven games and face first place Olimp-Dolgoprudny next, away on the 27 September at 4pm.
