Zyryanov played 286 matches for Zenit, winning the league title, the Russian Cup, the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup of Russia. He won numerous player awards while a Zenit man.
He became part of the club's coaching staff in 2014 and became the manager of Zenit-2 in 2017, followed by taking charge of Zenit U19s in 2018.
