Two statues moved to the Gazprom Arena from St. Petersburg's SKK

The two statues known as Sport and Art stood for 39 years outside St. Petersburg's Sports and Concert Complex, which was demolished at the start of this year.

Two statues moved to the Gazprom Arena from St. Petersburg's SKK
The two sculptures created by VL Rybalko, SK Baghramyan and NA Gordievsky were formally installed in front of the main entrance of the SKK Arena, the venue where Zenit lifted our first ever league title in 1984, and stood there from 1981 until the arena's demolition.

The statues symbolised the two main purposes of the SKK arena, Sport and Art. Each sculpture stands over 12 meters high and both were cast at the Leningrad art factory Monumentskulpura.

You'll be able to see them in situ from December when we have home games against Ural, Dynamo Moscow, Spartak Moscow and Borussia Dortmund.
