Dmitri Chistyakov was born on 13 January 1994 in the Leningrad Region. He began his career at the Gazprom Academy and progressed up the ranks to Zenit-2. Permanent moves to Shinnik Yaroslavl, Tambov and Rostov then followed, as did his first international call-up in 2019.

He then rejoined us at Zenit on loan in October 2020 and so far has played six times for the blue-white-sky blues.
