Danila Prokhin was born on 24 May 2001 in the Leningrad Region and made his way up through the Gazprom Academy eventually making his first-team debut in July 2020 against Akhmat.

The young defender has played 11 matches for Sergei Semak's team, including two appearances in the UEFA Champions League.
