Zenit U19s's started brightly and took an early lead through Varichev on 2 minutes. However, CSKA managed to lead 2-1 at half-time and even went 3-1 up in the second half. Knyazev pulled one back in the 72nd minute to make it 3-2. however CSKA sealed the win with a 90th-minute strike.

Both teams now sit at the top of the Youth League with 40 points each after 15 matches.
