How was the game?
There were different levels of success for us in the game, we had control of the game but did not take our chances and we conceded an unnecessary goal. Luckily we managed to score twice towards the end and won the game. Now every win is very important, but this one was especially important.
Did their goal shake the team?
It was a slap in the face for us and woke us up, we regained our concentration and got forward, then we scored two goals.
How did you feel playing alongside Yaroslav Rakitskiy in the centre of defence?
It's always great to play alongside him. I feel physically good and enjoyed the game.
Did you find out that you will start instead of Deyan Lovren as you arrived in Sochi?
Pretty much yes, I was given a bit of advanced notice.
Was Sardar Azmoun the hero of the day?
Yes, he was great, congratulations to him! He played some beautiful football.
Did Sochi surprise you with how they played?
I wouldn’t say they surprised us. They are a disciplined team that have played well this season with some good football.
