The Euro 2020 flag is raised over St. Petersburg

To celebrate the upcoming European Championships the flag of the tournament has been raised on Europe's highest flagpole next to the Gazprom Arena.

The height of the flagpole is 105 meters, the same as the length of the Gazprom Arena pitch.

The European Championships will be held across Europe from 11 June to 11 July and we're holding seven games in St. Petersburg. Matches involving Russia, Belgium, Finland, Poland, Slovakia and Sweden, as well as one of the quarterfinals will all take place in St. Petersburg.
