Danila Prokhin makes the move to Rostov

Zenit and Rostov have reached an agreement for defender’s permanent transfer, with a buy-back option for the blue-white-sky blues.

Danila Prokhin was born on 24 July 2001 in Kirishi and made his way through the Gazprom Academy, making his Zenit U19 debut in the summer of 2018, and less than a year later he played his first match for Zenit-2.

Prokhin made his first-team debut in October 2019 in the Russian Cup match against Tom Tomsk. Prokhin played a total of 11 matches for Zenit, including two matches in the UEFA Champions League. He was twice part of league winning squads and also has a Russian Cup winners medal.


Danila spent the 2020/21 season on loan with Sochi.
