Rybikov was born on 5 January 2000 in Saint Petersburg and has come through the ranks at the Gazprom Academy. By the end of 2016, he had already turned out at all levels of the Zenit youth system.

The 2019/20 season saw Rybikov make his debut for Zenit-2 and he got a taste of European football in the Uefa Youth League. This season, the shot-stopper has appeared 18 times for the blue-white-sky blue's second side and has only conceded 15 goals.

In a statement before his departure, Rybikov said; “I want to express my gratitude to the team, coaching, administrative and medical staff, everyone who has taken part in my development. I've been happy and proud to be part of this team. Thank you for the experience, for the positive emotions and for the joyful and difficult moments that we have experienced together. I have learned a lot thanks to your help and support. Thank you all and see you soon!"

Everyone at the club would like to wish Nikolai good luck for the upcoming season!
