The football training sessions at the camp are conducted under the watchful eyes of Gazprom Academy coaches Ilya Ivanov and Sergey Novikov, with local coaches supporting the training sessions.

Zenit have partnered in organising the project with AP4 Sport Company, who work closely with local football club A.S.D. Ducato Spoleto.

Those taking part in the children's camp will have the unique opportunity to learn the philosophy of the Gazprom Academy, and take part in training sessions ran according to the methods of one of Russia's best football schools.

Alexander Sapega, director of Zenit's strategic and business development department, represented the club at the opening ceremony in Italy. He personally congratulated the children and their parents on the start of this international project.

Mr. Sapega told the awaiting audience: "The Zenit childrens' camp in Italy is an opportunity for us to share our international experience in a country with an exceptionally strong football pedigree. We are confident that this international initiative will not only bring the rich cultures of our two countries closer together, but will also be the next step in developing the Zenit brand, helping Russia's top football club increase its participation in international projects.
