Yaroslav Mikhailov came on at half-time in the match with Hamborn and scored his first in the 46th minute. Two minutes later, Schalke scored again, this time Yaroslav getting the assist. In the 70th minute, the Russian midfielder bagged his second with a long-range strike with his left foot. The match ended in a 14-0 rout for Schalke.
