Aleksei Sutormin was born on 10 January 1994 in Moscow. In 2010, he joined Zenit’s Gazprom Academy and in April 2012 he made his debut for Zenit’s U19s.

Sutormin went on to play professionally for FC Strogino Moscow, Volgar Astrakhan, Orenburg and Rubin Kazan, before rejoining Zenit in July 2019.

Aleksei has played 83 matches for Zenit, scored 12 goals and made 12 assists. He's won the league title twice as well as the Russian Cup and two Russian Super Cups while a part of the blue-white-sky blues.
