Dmitriy Chistyakov: “We should do this more often when the weather is nice”
Dmitriy, what do you think of the training session in the centre of the city where you usually walk around, and today you played football here?

“I think such events are very good, both for us and for people who are having a walk here enjoying the weather. We showed a part of what we usually do at the training centre, our training process. We showed this training session to our fans and to people who came here for a walk, so I think it was fun. We should do this more often when the weather is nice.”

Do you feel extra responsibility when so many people are watching you? Are you trying to work harder than usual?

“I don’t know, I don’t think there’s any responsibility in this. We just came here to have fun, to play football and train. There was probably no responsibility, we just had to share some positivity with people, and we got positive feelings ourselves.”

Was the pitch difficult?

“Well, yes, it is pretty difficult, but I’ve already played on such pitches, so it wasn’t my first time. It’s fun though to play in these conditions as well sometimes.”

Is this entertainment before the match against Torpedo good for the team?

“We’re taking this game seriously, and we’ll be getting ready for it at the training centre. This event is not related to the upcoming match against Torpedo.”

Were you at the area where you played with the boys watching? How was it to play with them?

“Yes, it was the last area where we had them playing football with us. Two or three boys ran up to us. We played with them, let them score, showed off in front of them a little. I think they were happy, and that’s what’s most important.”
