Aleksandr Vasyutin returns to Zenit

Zenit and Djurgården have reached an agreement for an early end of the goalkeeper’s loan from the Swedish club.

Aleksandr Vasyutin returns to Zenit

The Gazprom Academy graduate returned to St. Petersburg and is currently back training on an individual basis at Udelny Park. 

Aleksandr Vasyutin was born on 4 March 1995 in St. Petersburg and made his way through the Gazprom Academy, Vasyutin made his Zenit U21 debut in May 2013. 

The goalkeeper has had three spells in Scandinavia, spending a year and a half on loan with FC Lahti in Finland, where he won goalkeeper of the season. He made a permanent moved to Sarpsborg 08 in Norway in 2018 where he represented the club 37 times including in the UEFA Europa League. Aleksandr returned to Zenit in 2019 and played three times for the first team, before his current loan deal in Sweden, where he has played five matches and conceded six goals.
