One of the most important steps in making the Gazprom Arena and the territory around the stadium the place that our supporters, St. Petersburgians and tourists want to visit is the expansion of the new ice skating rink. 

The ice skating rink near the flagpole that opened this winter is a popular spot for people who like winter sports and other fun activities. 

In order to allow everyone who wants to skate the chance, and make the rink even better, the area will be expanded from 2,9 thousand square meters to 22,5 thousand square meters. This will make it the biggest ice skating rink in the world! 

This decision was made after the discussions with the Chairman of the Management Committee Gazprom, Alexey Miller. 

Everyone can come to the ice rink to skate and enjoy the amazing view of the Gulf of Finland, the Gazprom Arena and the Lakhta Centre. During weekdays one-hour sessions for skate owners are free until 4pm. Tickets are available at https://flagshtock.ru/ and kassir.ru or at the the ice rink's ticket office on the day. After 4pm and on weekends tickets vary from 300 to 450 rubles.
