Zenit will play in Almaty against Kairat, who we have played twice in friendlies recently and both ending in Zenit wins. 1-0 in St. Petersburg in 2018 and 3-1 in Belek in 2020. 

The two clubs played each other 57 times in USSR football history, with 20 wins for the Leningraders, 20 draws and 17 Kairat wins. 

The match in Almaty will take place at the Central Stadium on Saturday 14 October at 2pm St. Petersburg time. Information on tickets and TV broadcasts will be published soon.
