The list of 33 players inlcuded nine Zenit players, Vyacheslav Karavaev, Strahinja Erakovic, Douglas Santos, Wilmar Barrios, Claudino, Wendel,  Andrey Mostovoy, Mateo Cassierra and Ivan Sergeev.  

This was a first inlcudion for Strahinja Erakovic and Mateo Cassierra. Andrey Mostovoy and Ivan Sergeev made the list for the second time, Claudino and Wendel for the third time, Vyacheslav Karavaev for the fourth time, Douglas Santos for the fifth and Wilmar Barrios for the sixth.

Sergei Semak was named as the best manager of the season and Zenit were named as the best team.
