Biography

Elena Ilyukhina was born in St. Petersburg on 5th February 1969. In 1993 she graduated from the St. Petersburg State Electronics University and in 1999 she further graduated from St. Petersburg State University with a law degree. In 2001 she was awarded the academic title of candidate of economic sciences. Since 2008 she has been a member of management board of Gazprom Neft, holding the title of deputy general director of legal affairs. In 2009 Elena oversaw the building of the Lakhta Centre, as general director of the project. The Lakhta Centre is the tallest building in St. Petersburg. In 2018 she joined the board of Zenit and in 2019 she was appointed as chair of the club’s board. Under he management the club have claimed a record five league titles in a row, and in 2023 Zenit won an historic eight Russian Super Cup.
