Referee appointment made for the Zenit v Torpedo

35-year-old Aleksey Sukhoy from near Moscow has been appointed for a Zenit game for the eighth time in his career.

In the previous seven Zenit games refereed by Aleksey Sukhoy the team from St. Petersburg won four times, and three matches ended with a draw. The last match was on 26 September 2020 when Zenit beat Ufa 6-0 at the Gazprom Arena.
The match against Torpedo Moscow will take place at the Gazprom Arena on Sunday 21 August and will kick off at 5:30pm St. Petersburg time.
