Referee appointment made for the CSKA v Zenit Cup match

44-year-old Sergey Karasev has been appointed for a Zenit game for the 56th time in his career.

In the previous 55 Zenit games refereed by Sergey Karasev the team from St. Petersburg won 33 times, lost seven times and 15 matches ended with a draw. The last game was on 3 April when Zenit faced Spartak away in the Russian Cup and won with the score 1-2.
The Cup match against CSKA will take place in Moscow on Thursday 2 May and will kick off at 7.15pm St. Petersburg time.
