Alexander Erokhin: "In the second leg everything is in our hands"

It was a very intense match, can you give us your thoughts on the game?

It was a really difficult match, not easy at all. The most important thing is that we battled to the end and gave everything on the pitch. We had chances and we could have scored a earlier, but the most important thing is that in the second leg everything is in our hands. We will prepare and go for the win.

Congratulations on scoring the goal! This is your first goal this season and you haven’t scored for a long time. How did it feel?

It was very nice! Yes, I haven’t scored for a long time, but I always want to do my best for the team, no matter how much I’m playing. Today it went well so I’m happy.

We’ve missed you coming on as sub and scoring. Will we see more of this?

There are still matches until the end of the league season and I’m fit, so I’ll try. If I get playing time, I’ll try and help the team.

Today’s goal moved you up to thirtieth in the club’s record scorers list. How does that make you feel?

I think that goals are all about wanting to help the team, and that comes ahead of any personal statistics. The most important thing is now, and then what happens tomorrow.

You receive a lot of support from the fans in the stands, how does that feel?

This is really nice, and I am very grateful to our fans for their attitude towards me. I always give my whole soul and all my energy for the team, so I want to thank them very much for this support, I bow to them. I know that in the home leg the support for us will be even stronger, and we will give our all!
