The Russian team defeated Bulgaria, 3-0. The game included two players from Zenit's youth set-up, Nikita Kakkoev was in the starting lineup and played the full 90 minutes, while Samir Bayramov came off the bench in the middle of the second half.
In the semifinals of the tournament, Russia will meet the winner of St. Petersburg v Slovakia, which will take place on 16 January. That semi-final will be held on 18 January.
