Five-year-old Maxim has been diagnosed with epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a condition also known as butterfly syndrome. Maxim's skin is so vulnerable that the slightest touch can cause him an injury. Every day, he needs special care, including bandages and ointments to dress his skin. Recently, Maxim's condition has worsened and he needed hospitalization. 

Maxim is receiving treatment at the St. Petersburg Children's Hospital №1 and his medical needs includes expensive drugs that are not included in those provided free of charge by the government.
