Andrei Lunev: "Bnei Yehuda reminded me of Rubin"

The Zenit keeper on the game in the UEFA Europa League.
Tell us about your save in the first half.

They had a shot and I knocked it away, that's all really. An ordinary save.

What did you think of Bnei Yehuda?

A Solid, organised team. They reminded me of Rubin in their style of play.

Mancini said that Zenit must not underestimate an opponent?

There is no question of underestimating them. The first game, especially away, is always hard, because the other team wants to prove something to their fans and to themselves. I think we coped with it well. The most important thing is that they did not score and we won.

Was it difficult to play with such heat?

It was hard, yes.

In a few days you are playing Tosno, are you anticipating any problems?

For me no. I want to play, to get in shape, so there will not be any problems.

And it's at the Petrovsky but an away game, is this unusual?

I do not know, I've not been with the team for such a long time, so it does not matter where we play. The main thing is to get out there and play.
