Anatoly Davydov has been appointed director of the Gazprom Academy

The Zenit legend has been put in charge of running the club's academy.
The Tula native spent most of his career at Zenit, setting a record for the number of official matches for the club (456) and winning the USSR championship in 1984. 

Davydov has also managed the club on separate occasions and won the Russian Cup in 1999 and the league bronze medal in 2009. In 2017 he headed Zenit-2 in the FNL. 

In his new capacity, he will be responsible for preparing the club's new talent at all levels. Zenit wish Anatoly Viktorovich all the best in his new position!
