Douglas Santos was named the RPL's best defender and Malcom won awards as the best forward and overall best player in the league.

Douglas Santos, Malcom and Wendel were also named in the RPL's team of the season. 

This is the first incarnation of the RPL end of season awards and were voted on by journalists, bloggers, selected fans, coaches and team captains.
