Referee appointment made for the Zenit v Spartak match

44-year-old Aleksey Karasev has been appointed for a Zenit game for the 54th time in his career.

In the previous 53 Zenit games refereed by Sergey Karasev the team from St. Petersburg won 32 times, lost seven times and 14 matches ended with a draw. The last match was on 11 November 2023 when Zenit faced Krasnodar at the Gazprom Arena and finished with a 1-1 draw.
The match against Spartak will take place at the Gazprom Arena on Saturday 2 March and will kick off at 7:30pm St. Petersburg time.
