Referee appointment made for the Spartak v Zenit Cup match

44-year-old Sergey Karasev has been appointed for a Zenit game for the 55th time in his career.

In the previous 54 Zenit games refereed by Sergey Karasev the team from St. Petersburg won 32 times, lost seven times and 15 matches ended with a draw. The last game was on 2 March when Zenit faced Spartak at the Gazprom Arena and finished with a 0-0 draw.
The Cup match against Spartak will take place in Moscow on Wednesday 3 April and will kick off at 8.30pm St. Petersburg time.
