Gazprom Training Camp: Two training sessions held today
On 19 January the blue-white-sky blues continued to prepare for the remainder of the season with a ninth day in Dubai.
Instead of the previously scheduled games with Lokomotiv Tashkent U21s the team took the opportunity to train out on the pitch and conduct a series of training exercises and a fun tournament between the players.
After three games the red team won two the tournament, with two wins both ending 4-3. The top scorers in the red team were Zhirkov and Djordjevic, who scored two goals each. The team then played another mini-tournament with a first-goal-wins format. This time the yellow won, with three goals, all scored by Artem Dzyuba.
Tomorrow, the blue-white-sky blues play the final match in the first Gazprom Training Camp against Lokomotiv Tashkent. The game starts at 16:00 St. Petersburg time and will be shown live on Zenit-TV.
