Alexander Kokorin: "The boys offered me champagne, but I turned it down"

The blue-white-sky blue forward on his thoughts on the Super Cup win, joking around with his team mates and his gratitude to Lucescu.
I am very pleased and happy. This is the first game of the season. It's good that started we've started with a trophy.

How have you reacted to jokes about champagne? Artem Dzyuba even said that this champagne wasn't good enough for you.

It's been all right and I'm okay, but I gave the champagne to our third goalkeeper Vasyutin and I don't know what happened to it. The guys gave me champagne, but I decided not to drink it. I gave it all back, but now I will collect what's left.

You didn't play at the training camp, but today you started, were you surprised?

It was unexpected. But I am very grateful to the Manager for giving me the chance to play in this match. I am happy because I have been training really hard outside the team and I haven't yet been able to catch up with the guys, but now I will.

Was it hard to train without the team?

Yes, the situation basically, wasn't clear. I thought that it would take time, I waited and then everything was resolved. Thank God it worked the way it did in the end.

Can now say something about what happened in their box at the end of the first half?

It wasn't exactly simulation on my part, I rewatched the moment on the dressing room video. You can decide if it was a penalty or not. But it shouldn't have been a yellow card.
