Luis Neto "I'm used to St. Petersburg, it's the most beautiful city on earth"

The Portuguese defender gave an interview to Match-TV where he discussed the finish to the season, his interest in other sports and the problem of the bridges opening in the city.
OnTell us about the game with Lokomotiv

We were well aware that if we didn't win the match then we couldn't win the title and would be without the Champions League. We fought and tried to win, but nothing worked for us. By the end of the game the nerves were running high, so when Miranchuk kicked the ball away, we could not stand it and there was that issue between the players. He is a talented player and my relationship with him has not changed, but none understood why he did it. I understand that Lokomotiv tried to play for time, but Aleksei Miranchuk've already had a yellow card and he knew he'd be off.

On hockey and basketball

I was at the hockey several times, the first time with Danny and Criscito took me with them, and then I went to watch the Russian national team. But this year I haven't been to the Ice Palace. I really like basketball, so now I often go to the Sibur arena.

About the bridges opening times in St.Petersburg

Because of them I once couldn't get home, when I was going by car. I had just moved to St. Petersburg and did not know what to do in this situation. I just had to wait until the bridges went down and I could travel to the other side. For about three hours I was sitting in my car: listening to music, playing on my phone, I even had time for a nap!

About Siena and St. Petersburg

Well, how can they be compared? Both cities are incredibly beautiful, but very different. Siena is much smaller than St. Petersburg, where everyone knows each other. For example, when I went to the restaurant I was immediately recognised and I discussed yesterday's match. Here in St. Petersburg, the city is very big! How many people live here? Six to seven million? In Siena, it's much less. I liked everything there, and one day I would like to return to Italy. But if I had to choose? Well, I'm used to St.Petersburg and I think it's the most beautiful city in the world.
