Club Good Deeds: Zenit launch lessons on tolerance

From 27 November to 8 December the blue-white-sky blues together with students from Herzen State Pedagogical University conducted tolerance lessons in schools across the Leningrad Region.
The program took place at dozens of schools across the region and each lesson included several parts; theoretical, during which university students talked about the problem of racism in society and sports and practical, dedicated to the work of Zenit in this direction. The school children were then invited to participate in quizzes and games on the topic. The most active participants of the lessons then won an invitation to watch the blue-white-sky blue players train at Udelnaya Park.

Similar lessons took place in 2015 and 2016 in schools around St. Petersburg.

This year, the former Zenit captain, Alexei Igonin joined the lessons. The player spoke about the principles of tolerance in football and spoke about its value on the field and the language of football being universal.

The club support the principles of tolerance and equal opportunities for all. Detailed information about Zenit's programmes and activities are available on the website under Club Initiatives
