Temporary seating is being added to Stadium St. Petersburg before the World Cup

Work has began on the construction of temporary stands at the stadium before Russia 2018.
The capacity at Stadium St. Petersburg will rise to 68,172 during the World Cup. These stands are not certified for Russian Football Premier League matches, so will remain empty during the with CSKA and SKA-Khabarovsk games.

Stadium St. Petersburg will host seven World Cup matches. In the group stage on 15 June Morocco play Iran, on 19 June Russia host Egypt, on 22 June Brazil will meet Costa Rica and on 26 June Nigeria take on Argentina. 

A Last 16 and Semi-Final game will also be held at Stadium St. Petersburg  as well the Third-Place Playoff.
