Zenit are now in the 20 most watched clubs in world football

The average attendance at Stadium St. Petersburg this season is currently 48,981.
The stats from transfermarkt.co.uk rank Zenit as the 19th most attended club in world football and 17th in Europe, ahead of PSG, Atletico Madrid, Boca Juniors, Roma, Chelsea and Juventus.

Borussia Dortmund with an average of 76,906 spectators, Bayern Munich (74,000) and Manchester United (71,107) make up the top three most watched clubs so far this season. 

The first seven official matches of the season at Stadium St. Petersburg were attended by 342,870 fans. Adding the friendly game with Kairat and the four fan zones, where supporters have been able to watch our away games, means 396,392 fans have watched football at the stadium this year.
