Referee appointment made for Bordeaux v Zenit in the UEL
36-year-old Austrian Harald Lechner will take change of the game in France.
The blue-white-sky blues have had only one match with an Austrian referee previously, in 2008 when Zenit lost to Villarreal 2-1.
The match against Bordeaux will be held on Thursday 8 November at the Stade de Bordeaux and will begin at 11:00 pm St. Petersburg time.
