The RFU approve the Gazprom Arena's application to host the Champions League final

The Russian Football Union made the announcement supporting the application today.
The final decision on the 2020/21 Champions League final's location will be made by the UEFA Executive Committee in May or June 2019. St. Petersburg and Munich are competing to host the biggest game in club football.

The total amount of supports attending the Gazprom Arena during the 2018/19 has exceeded 800,000 and the stadium is one of the top 20 most visited stadiums in the world.
