How was your time off?

Surrounded by family and friends, it was great!

You had two bird events for your daughter, her birthday and her Christening how did it go? 

Yes, we had been planning her Christening for a long time, Her birthday was actually in September and we celebrated that in Russia, but the whole family were together so we celebrated it again.

You took a holiday in Uruguay, why did you decide to go there?

We went to Punta del Este, there are some amazing beaches there and many Argentines go there on holiday. Together with my friends, family and my wife we celebrated the New Year there. It was wonderful!

And you got a photo with Neymar.

Luis Suarez had his wedding there, in Punta del Este, and Neymar and I were staying in the same hotel, on the same floor even. I asked Leo Paredes for an introduction and he took the picture of me and Neymar. I've always wanted this. 

You did have a game of football with Paredes in Uruguay?

Yes, at the home of a famous Argentinian actor.  

Who did you miss the most while away?

When you spend most of the year together, you miss everyone when you're away for a month.
