The Russian international leaves the club after seven years.

Igor Smolnikov joined Zenit from Krasnodar in August 2013 after already representing Russia at youth, U19 and B-levels, he made his full debut once at Zenit in November 2013.

Whilst in St. Petersburg, Smolnikov played 200 matches, scored 10 goals and made 11 assists for Zenit. He won league three times and the Russian Cup twice.
