Sergei Semak’s team will play Werder Bremen on 7 July, this being the first time that Zenit have played the team from Weserstadion in our history. The match will take place in Zell am Ziller, Austria.
We will also face Karlsruher SC on 11 July in Tyrol for the third in our history. In 1957, Zenit drew away 1-1 with the Bundesliga side, and in 2014 we defeated the Germans 1-0 at the Petrovsky thanks to a Salomon Rondon goal.
These two friendlies are in addition to our 3 July game against Schalke 04, also in Austria.
