Artem Dzyuba sets a new Russian goalscoring record

The Zenit striker scored the landmark goal against Spartak Moscow in the 7-1 win at the Gazprom Arena.


Artem Dzyuba sets a new Russian goalscoring record
Artem Dzyuba has become the top goalscorer in the history of the Russian Championship.

Dzyuba scored a penalty late in the game against Spartak to net his 144th goal., one ahead of the long-standing record holder Oleg Veretennikov with his 143 goals. 

Third place in the ranking is held by a Zenit legend Aleksandr Kerzhakov on 139 goals.
