It was a good game. We know that CSKA have a lot of good quality players, but I think we seized the initiative from kick-off and deserved the win. This is the start of the pre-season and we’re only thinking about the first match of the season against Spartak in the Super Cup.
Two more Brazilin players are joining Zenit, can you tell us anything about Ivan and Mantuan?
I know them of course and it’s great that they are coming and these players will strengthen the team. I think the most important thing is getting used to Russian football as quickly as possible. They will definitely strengthen the team, just like Yuri Alberto did, and we will be a better, more confident team.
How do you feel physically, is this the most difficult time at the moment?
I feel great and much better than this time last year at our previous training camp. Right now I want to work even harder and do even more. I want to go into the new season at my best and to score more goals than I have in previous seasons.
