A delegation from St. Petersburg, led by Alexander Medvedev, are taking part in an opening ceremony to mark further co-operation between the two clubs.
The guests of honour at the opening ceremony in Belgrade were the Chairman of the Belgrade Parliament Nikola Nikodievich, a member of the government of St. Petersburg Evgeny Grigoriev and Crvena Zvezda President Svetozar Mijailovich.
Gazprom Academy coaches Nikolai Krasavin and Ivan Kirsanov are also in Belgrade and will hold a coaching seminar at Crvena Zvezda's academy.
Zenit 2008 won the friendly 4-3 and wil play further friendly games in Serbia againstGraficar and Vojvodina.
