Malcom, Rodrigão and Barrios will miss the next six Cup matches

The RFU’s disciplinary committee have looked into the incident in the match against Spartak at the Gazprom Arena and made the decision to ban the Zenit players for their involvement in the mass brawl at the end of the game.

The club have also been fined 100,000 rubles for the team’s unacceptable behavior (three red cards in one match), 50,000 rubles for supporter misconduct through unapproved banners, 50,000 rubles for offensive chanting from the fans, as well as 30,000 rubles for spectators using pyrotechnics. 

The Russian Cup match against Spartak Moscow took place at the Gazprom Arena on Sunday, 27 November. Zenit won the last game of the year with the score 0-0 (4-2 on penalties).
