Danil Krugovoy was born on 28 May 1998 in Gatchina. When he was six years old he joined the Gazprom Academy.
In 2015 Krugovoy made his debut for Zenit U19 and played 31 matches in two seasons.
9 November 2016 the defender played his first game for Zenit-2 against Tyumen, and overall took part in 26 matches for the team with one scored goal.
In July of 2018 Danil joined Ufa, played nine matches and scored one goal. Then at the beginning of the 2019/20 season Krugovoy signed a contract with Zenit, but continued playing for Ufa on loan, therefore he took part in 13 more matches with the team.
In Summer of 2020 Krugovoy came back to Zenit and so far he has played 86 matches for the St. Petersburg team, scored two goals and made ten assists. Together with Zenit the defender won the league three times and lifted the Russian Super Cup three times as well.
