Konstantin Zyryanov returns to Zenit
The club legend has been appointed as an advisor to the chairman of the board, and will begin work in the near future.
Zyryanov played 286 matches for Zenit, won the league, the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup, and the Russian Cup all while in St. Petersburg. He also won many individual awards, including being the best player and best midfielder in Russia.
In 2014, he joined Zenit-2 as a player-coach and helped the team take second place in the third tier of Russian football and won promotion to the FNL. In December 2017, Konstantin Zyryanov was appointed head coach of Zenit-2, and from 2018 to 2022 he led the blue-white-sky blues U21 team.
In October 2022, he was appointed head coach of Novorossiysk Chernomorets and league them to promotion to the FNL.
